Note to Group Commissioners and Registrars:

Please note that as of June 1st, York Regional Police will not accept the old VSS Police Check Form. They have replaced the form with the one available here which no longer requires the requesting Agency (aka Scouts Canada) to sign off. The cost remains at $20 and the locations at Hillcrest Mall in Richmond Hill and Newmarket are unchanged. The link to the York Regional Police information page is:

In the past volunteers have had to have a member of the Area or Council Team sign off on the request. This is no longer the case. Please update your Volunteers of the new process if a VSS is required.
